Geneafinder Premium: Advanced tools to enrich your family tree

The entire Doptim team, creator of the online genealogy site, is proud to announce the launch of Geneafinder's new Premium services. These new services offer advanced features that allow amateur, beginner, and passionate genealogists to enrich their family tree, alone or as a team.

🚀 Advanced features for an enriched experience

Geneafinder's new Premium services include:

- A 20 GB multimedia gallery to bring your family tree to life: Add images, videos, documents, and audio files, edit, annotate your media and identify your ancestors. Our gallery includes a slideshow function and allows you to export your memories as a PDF booklet. An additional 200 GB of storage is available, ideal for securely backing up your family memories in a space hosted in France.

- A task manager to keep track of your research: Create to-do lists, organize them with labels, and link them to people in your tree.

- Advanced statistics for your tree to uncover the secrets of your genealogy: Analyze your family history with captivating statistical data and maps to understand your ancestors' migrations.

- A consistency checker for an error-free family tree: Our tool detects errors, inconsistencies, and duplicates that you can easily analyze and correct.

- A team workspace to collaborate and enrich your family tree with confidence: Within a dedicated space, complete and correct tree data, track changes on the Dashboard, share a gallery, and communicate via a dedicated messaging system.

🌳 Improvements for Geneafinder's free version

We have also redesigned and improved several features to facilitate the experience for our users.

First, we have revamped our Resources space. It is now more readable and accessible to everyone, without needing to create an account on Geneafinder. Our templates and printables will now be at your fingertips!

For several weeks now, our users have been enjoying a new main menu. In the form of a Dashboard, this menu facilitates the organization of work on the family tree thanks to the Recent Activities module and saves users time with numerous quick links to our tools. Additionally, a Today module highlights the day's anniversaries.

Tree visualization and editing are now closer! The "Edit Person" button is back, so you can edit a card from the tree visualization by clicking this button or directly on the Pencil icon. You can also save time by adding people to your tree by clicking on quick creation blocks (to add parents, children, spouses).

It is also possible to change the colors of your family tree. For completeness or by gender, you can easily customize the colors of your tree.

Our users will also benefit from a new module in the Entry space: the Close Family module, which makes it easy to view relationships between family members and access their cards with one click.

Finally, it is now possible to export a branch of the family tree in GEDCOM format! An export as a Genealogical Booklet (in .pdf) is also available.

🔍 Over 20 new features and improvements on Geneafinder

These new features and improvements allow users to go further in their genealogy compared to existing modules.

Moreover, the ability to share your tree and work as a team, by choosing trusted teammates, is a major asset for sharing genealogical data in a constructive approach. While other genealogy websites often offer unconditional sharing of all trees in their database, Geneafinder prioritizes reciprocity, trust, and applies European privacy-by-default principles in sharing family data.

The new Premium services of Geneafinder are available as quarterly or annual subscriptions, with three offers based on teamwork: Solo - to work alone, Duo - to work with two, and Family - to work with multiple people.

Finally, the launch of these Premium services reaffirms our commitment to making genealogy accessible to everyone with simple tools, so that everyone can tell their own story through archives and share it with confidence.
