Lisa, who joined us in the spring of 2017 for a web writing internship, will be at the forefront to take up the challenge. Our favorite topics are multi-cultural genealogy, migrations in Europe and America, and genealogy as an immense source of information that each patiently tries to connect to trace their history, in short, the historical channel of big data.
In 2018, Geneafinder was officially launched in the genealogy market at the European Heritage Days at the Archives of Ille-et-Vilaine in Rennes. Our first users took the opportunity to share their feedback and advice to best meet their genealogical expectations. We participated in several fairs and workshops to meet beginner and passionate genealogists and thus present our first genealogy product.
As for the blog, it's Maud who takes over and ensures Geneafinder's participation in the AZ Challenge. We discuss, once again, travel and migrations, but also the genealogy of the future and the protection of personal data in genealogy.
In 2019, our ambition is great. The number of users is increasing, and we continue to develop tools that help you save time and find your ancestors more easily. So, goodbye green! Geneafinder changes its look: more modern and contrasting colors, simpler icons to read, and we revise the ergonomics and use of the site geneafinder.com.
But above all, Doptim sets up in Quebec! With our expertise and genealogical antisèches, Geneafinder arrives on the Quebec genealogy market. We still have a lot to do, but... this market is promising, and we work every day to offer you an easy and useful genealogy tool.
